How can you help? I have been saying this for years. Our Holiday Faire is a truly magical event. There isn't any other event in our church that brings the energy of so many people together. The joking, the laughter and even the hard work all serve as a glue that cements our fellowship. I first joined the church in Sept of 2000 and worked at the Faire two months later. It was my involvement in the Faire that gave me that warm feeling of belonging. That feeling that said to me "I'm home". How can you help? When you look at the front page of our website you will see over a dozen different areas of the church that can use your help. Bake a pie or some cookies. Do some fall cleaning and donate some items to our White Elephant. Maybe you have a nicer item that will have a special place in our Silent Auction. Buy some raffle tickets for our Raffle Quilt. Pick a theme and go shopping for one of our Raffle Baskets. Are you a good cook or just love working in the kitchen? Then lend a hand in our Café. Make and donate a soup or dish or even help serve. Are you a crafter or do you make things that you like to sell? Then rent a booth and set up a table in our sanctuary. If none of these areas work for you we can ALWAYS use help setting up the week before the event or cleaning up the afternoon after the event is over. Please feel free to donate your excess fabric and yarns. There is a box under the stairs at the church for donations. Please make sure your donations are clean and in sellable condition.
